Kitchen Chairs: how to choose it?

December 20, 2012

The chairs for the kitchen must be practical, of course comfortable, space-saving, in some cases necessarily folding: so the seats complets tables and counters.

Comfort and durability are the features that you need to pay attention to when you choose the chairs.

For those intended for the kitchen should be given priority to lightness and maneuverability. Better prefer washable materials, without forgetting that the wood can be cleaned easily. To match them to the table must take account of the dimensions: between the height of the sitting and that of the plane are about 25-30 cm, even if we talk about stools.

It’s good to orientate always on models without armrests, which are easier to move. They are also thin and space-saving.

Trends

With the exception of  kitchens in style, where a table and chairs are often coordinated, usually the sittings for this room have metal frame with back in plastic, although there are models entirely in wood or upholstered with leather.

You can fold it up and put it back

The possibility of closing it does not affect the comfort of the chair. Indeed, in many cases, these models have the contoured seat and backrest curved designed to ensure the most correct position. Folded, have a thickness that does not exceed 10 centimeters. And, in general, weighing less than 3 kilograms.

Chairs  made of wood

The chairs typically have seat upholstered in fabric. Should be coordinated at the table but they can be comfortable with a table in glass.

For the finishing of wood are often used water-based paints. Non-toxic, are without solvents because composed of acrylic that can be emulsified in water. Their use is specified on the card accompanying the product.

Whatever choice you make, it is important that the kitchen chairs are comfortable, and if you have a space large enough you do not have to pay any attention to size of chairs, but keep in mind to buy things with a style.

Everything else, including functionality, takes second place.

He starred in a chair that would fit perfectly in a house in modern style. The chair is inspired to a series of schematic lines, with a structure and a style that tends to be particularly relaxing, the choice of the wire mesh has in itself a certain interest thus defining a line and a structure airy and light. The idea that the chair is highly dynamic, almost sound is its movement, wrapped in a modern style and a little retro.
